Pondless Waterfalls
A pondless waterfall gives you all the advantages of a water garden expect for the fish! You can enjoy the sound of the waterfall, the elegance of lighting, and the softness of landscaping without the maintenance and liability of a pond.
The basin is excavated and filled with layers of stone. The water level is set below the gravel and circulated via a waterfall. The effect is water cascading down a beautiful waterfall or stream and disappearing through the stone.
This innovative water feature can be built inside, outside - virtually anywhere!

- Aquatic Artists® takes stagnate, unattractive, green earth bottom lakes, ponds, and retention basins and improve the appearance and function of them biologically.
- We add waterfalls and sub surface aeration systems to circulate water, reduce algae, and improve water quality.
- We install aquatic plantings and bog filtration systems to organically filter large bodies of water (up to 2.5 million gallons, or 2 acres).
- We install terrestrial plantings, bridges, stepping stones, and lighting aesthetically to improve the area.
- We install biological logs, mats, and aquatic plantings to stabilize banks.
