Natural pools and rock water features are one of the biggest trends in the pool industry.
My company works with homeowners to add a focal point to their pool. We also work with numerous pool builders as their waterfall specialist.
My background is in artistic landscape construction and years of pond construction. I am not a stone mason. A stone mason builds fire places, BBQ pits, stone columns and the like. I can not do any of that. A stone mason is a trade of its own. Waterfall building is also a trade of its own.
Aquatic Artists® is the only company that exclusively builds waterfalls for the pool industry.
You would not hire me to build you an outdoor kitchen nor should you hire someone that does not have extensive experience in waterfall construction to build you a waterfall.

We replaced it.
Just because two contractors both work with cement and rocks does not mean they have the same skill set.
A natural looking waterfall has planting areas and it is in scale with the pool and yard.
The rocks are many different sizes and the project should look like it has been there for a while.
If the project:
- Does not have planting areas,
- Is out of scale (usually too big)
- Looks like a pyramid
- Has a lot of stacked rock of similar size or
- A lot of visible cement
You have not accomplished the goal of a natural looking waterfall.
